Individual Telehealth Therapy Rates

Solution-focused, one-on-one sessions for motivated and ambitious adults.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, mental health counseling sessions are available only for clients located in New Jersey due to licensure regulations.

Currently, we are not in-network with insurance companies. However, you may have out-of-network benefits for mental health services and may not be aware of these benefits.

Please call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions:

  1. Does my plan include “out-of-network” coverage for mental health services?
  2. What is my annual deductible for mental health benefits?
  3. What percentage of the session does my plan cover?
  4. Is there a limit to the number of sessions covered per year in my plan?

Here are four reasons why it can be beneficial to avoid using insurance for mental health counseling:

  • Greater Privacy and Confidentiality– When insurance is involved, therapists must provide a mental health diagnosis that becomes part of your permanent medical record. Paying out-of-pocket allows you to keep your mental health information private and off insurance databases.
  • Increased Flexibility in Treatment– Insurance companies often limit the number of sessions covered or require therapists to use specific treatment methods. Paying privately allows you and your therapist to create a customized treatment plan without restrictions.
  • No Need for Diagnosis– Insurance requires a formal mental health diagnosis to justify treatment, even if one may not be appropriate. Paying out-of-pocket eliminates the need for labeling, focusing instead on your goals and growth without requiring a diagnosis.
  • Broader Therapist Choices– Many skilled and experienced therapists do not accept insurance due to administrative burdens. Paying privately expands your access to professionals who may not be in-network but specialize in your specific needs.
